The Ali Modu Sheriff factional Governorship candidate for Ondo State November 26, 2016 election Jimoh Ibrahim is receiving security and financial support from the Presidency through the Inspector General of Police.

Reliable information available our Mail Express Online shows that IGP Idris Ibrahim has been mandated by the Presidency to fund Jimoh Ibrahim campaign and election in Ondo State.

To facilitate this, the Inspector General of Poilce, Ibrahim Idris has given out: Group Life, Group Assets and Group Personal Accident Insurance respectively to FBN Insurance and NICON insurance respectively.

NICON Insurance owned by Jimoh Ibrahim is the Lead Underwriter while First Bank PLC is the Lead Broker.

The documents revealed that N5billion has been fully paid to NICON Insurance and FBN Insurance while other insurance companies were shut out of the deal despite their confirmation as Underwriters.

The other insurance companies are yet to get their letter of offer as Underwriters and Brokers. All effort to get it from FBN Insurance proved abortive as the Head, Northern Region of the FBN Insurance, Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye said that IGP Idris has instructed them not to give any Underwriters and Brokers letter of offer.

Further investigation revealed that Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye has stopped receiving calls of other Underwriters

The Presidency had to tie the N5Billion campaign fund to the Insurance scheme so as to drive away suspicion from the public and insiders from the Nigeria Police.

“No wonder Jimoh Ibrahim was boosting that he will win the election. The security personnel attached to Jimoh Ibrahim is more than that of the State Governor, one of the workers in NICON Insurance said.

Another worker said that the rate at which Jimoh Ibrahim; who has not paid his workers for almost a year, is spending money is shocking to us.

“Whatever he says is what the Presidency is doing; this is a man that has accused the INEC of requesting for $1million but the same man is the eye of INEC today, a factional member of the PDP in Ondo State said.

All efforts to hear from the Police proved abortive as at the time of going to the press but the Head, Northern Region of the FBN Insurance, Mr. Lucas A. Durojaiye confirmed that NICON Insurance owned by Jimoh Ibrahim got the deal to be the Leader Underwriter for the Nigeria Police.
